Discus Cages
Official Discus Cages
Required by National Federation, NCAA, and IAAF regulations for safety purposes, many schools face the choice of low price or quality when it comes to discus cages. We've found that units not built as well as AAE Discus Cages are too easily damaged from both normal wear and vandalism. That often means replacement in two or three years. So much for economy.
Now you can have both economy and quality. AAE product designers have come up with an elegantly simple cage that stands up long after inexpensive cages have been replaced several times over. Curved 4" structural aluminum posts secure a weather-treated nylon safety net, 340 psi strength, that sets up and is taken down with a simple pulley system. Ingenious net cleats secure the net in place.
The posts are offset so a flying discus can't "ricochet," and provide increased safety for spectators, officials and competitors by providing a place to install an optional 7' backup net to keep onlookers at a safe distance from the main safety net. Posts are installed into aluminum ground sleeves and are easily removed for storage.
AAE Discus Cages come in three models, designed specifically for three levels of competition: high school, college, and international.
Don't settle for less than the finest quality, because AAE quality always pays in the long run. Call today for a free phone consultation on your specific requirements.
